The management of the Kwara State University (KWASU), has announced the untimely demise of one of its lecturers, Dr. Ajeigbe Issa, the Head of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education and Acting Director of Sports at the institution.
The university, in a circular issued by its Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo Sallee, said Ajeigbe died in his sleep at his home in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Monday morning, April 24. It is unclear whether the lecturer suffered any ailment before the unfortunate event.
The deceased is set to be buried today, April 24, according to Islamic rites, and the Islamic funeral prayer is ongoing in Budo-Egba, Asa LGA, Kwara State.
