The Lagos State Ministry of Education has released the approved harmonized school calendar for the year 2022/2023 academic year, for both private and public schools in the state.
The Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, in a statement issued on Thursday, July 19, said the harmonized calendar was to be adhered to by both public and private schools in Lagos State.
The statement further explained that schools below the tertiary level would resume for the First Term 2022/2023 academic session on September 5, and would vacate on December 16, 2022, and schools are expected to maintain a minimum of 180 learning days.
