The Lagos State Government has warned that it will be moved to seal schools that failed to comply with the January 4th resumption date as stipulated in the 2021/2022 academic calendar.
According to a statement issued by the office of the Director-General, Education Quality Assurance, Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, the names of schools that failed to comply with the Ministry of Education resumption directives were being compiled, and disciplinary actions will be taken.
Seriki-Ayeni explained that the Year 2021/2022 school calendar was developed in collaboration with stakeholders in June 2021, to ensure uniformity in the education system in the state, adding that the resumption directives had been communicated to all schools and associations to ensure equal educational standards and learning systems.
