The Lagos State Government has shut down Ojodu Grammar School until January 2022, following the unfortunate death of students of the school who were crushed to death by a truck driver on Tuesday, December 7. The incident led to a protest by aggrieved students of the school.
The state Commissioner for Education, Folashade Adefisayo made the announcement when she visited the school today, Wednesday, December 8.
Adefisayo said the state government will release an “explicit” statement later in the day containing an official death count and more details about what led to the tragic accident.
