The attention of the University Management has been drawn to the misleading information being circulated amongst students that the First Semester examination scheduled to commence on Monday, 8th November, 2021 has been postponed for the second time.
The University Management wishes to clarify that the information is false and misleading, and should be completely disregarded. The first-semester examination will go ahead as scheduled on Monday 8th November 2021, and students are enjoined to continue to prepare for the examination.
It is also imperative to state that the initial postponement was consequent upon the University Senate’s approval of the request by leaders of the Students Union to have the examination shifted by one week to allow their colleagues prepare well. The students’ request was presented by the Vice-Chancellor and the Senate’s approval was duly communicated to the students. Till date, there is no information to the contrary.
