Latest: LASU Notice to Students on School Fees Payment
This is to further educate members of the Lagos State University (LASU) community, especially all students categories: Full-Time Undergraduate, Part-Time Undergraduate, Sandwich, Diploma, Conversion, ODLRI, JUPEB, PDS, Postgraduate, etc that payment of SCHOOL FEES is STRICTLY by selecting the appropriate TAB with respect to their programmes on the approved LASU Payment Portal – https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment.
For example, a Postgraduate student currently in the second semester of 2020/2021 academic session should click on the payment Tab – POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME while the newly admitted Postgraduate students for the 2021/2022 academic session, and other PG programmes already in the first semester of 2021/2022 (e.g MBA) are to click on the Tab – POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME 2021/2022 SESSION for the payment of their 2021/2022 academic session school fees.
All payment options embedded in the SUNDRY Tab are specific and for non-school fees payment items.
Henceforth, any student, irrespective of the such student category, that uses SUNDRY Tab to pay school fees will have to pay again using the appropriate channel as such payment will not be activated for the service to which the payment was made for. Payment must be made using the appropriate school fees Tab as clearly stated on the epayment portal. Only such payment will allow access to the registration portal or any other services that students are to benefit from, after payment of school fees.
This information is very vital to the university community to promote accountability in the area of school fees payments and reconciliations.
Earlier: LASU Notice to Students on Activation of Email Account and Result Portal
This is to inform all admitted full-time undergraduate students of the Lagos State University (LASU) in the 2020/2021 academic session that the Directorate of ICT has successfully assigned to them their official students’ email addresses for official correspondence henceforth.
Below therefore is the procedure for the activation of the individual student’s email account.
(All the procedures below are to be carried out on a computer system)
1. Login into LASU Full-Time Undergraduate Registration portal
2. After successful login, Click on WIRELESS & EMAIL to see your email address and temporary password
3. Browse the Url : mail.google.com and enter the email address and click on the NEXT
4. Enter the temporary password
5. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
6. You will be requested to create your own PASSWORD (minimum of 8 characters)
7. You will also be requested to supply your GSM number/alternative email address for future password recovery activation
8. Please keep your password very safely and known only to you.
B. On the successful activation of the email account, individual student will receive an email from the Results Processing Unit of the DICT on the activation of student’s results portal. Each student is advised to follow through the procedure personally and carefully by supplying correct information when completing the results activation form. Use of proxy is totally prohibited. All passwords are to be kept securely.
