The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) is delighted to announce the sale of application forms for admission into its Community Health Officers (CHO) Course for the 2023/2024 academic session. This two-year residential program, co-accredited by the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria, is a golden opportunity for aspiring health practitioners to earn a Higher Diploma in Community Health.
About the Program
The CHO course, set to commence in August/September 2022, offers a unique blend of academic learning and practical training. With the majority of course activities, including lectures, taking place at the LUTH Primary Health Care Complex in Pakoto and LUTH Idi-Araba in Lagos, students will have ample opportunity to learn and apply community health principles in a real-world setting.

How to Apply
To apply for the CHO Course, follow these steps:
- Visit the Admission Portal at https://luth.gov.ng/schools/ and select your preferred school.
- Fill out the Account Creation Form with accurate information and a working email address. After creating your account, you will receive an email with your login details and instructions for payment.
- If you wish to make a payment immediately, select “MAKE PAYMENT” after creating your account. You will be redirected to the Remita website to complete your payment using the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code generated when your account was created.
- After successful payment, visit https://luth.gov.ng/profile/, log in with the user ID provided in the email, and fill out the Application Form for the CHO program.
Please note that the application fee is N10,000.
IMPORTANT: Applicants must print their completed online application bio-data, which will be sent to their email after application completion. Short-listed applicants will be required to present this during the entrance examination.
Application Deadline: The deadline for submission of applications is six (6) weeks from the date of publication.
