The Student Union Election to usher in SUG officials for the 2021/2022 Academic Session has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday 24th November, 2021. Management considers it highly expedient to roll out some measures to ensure a hitch free exercise.
In the light of the foregoing, Management has resolved as follows:
(a) That all ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES be suspended in the Institution on Wednesday 24th November, 2021. For the avoidance of doubt, academic activities include the ongoing 2020/2021 second semester examinations, lectures, tests, submission of any form of assignment or practicals.
(b) That all DPT Students are to stay away from the campus as there shall not be any lecture or other form of academic activities for them on the day.
(c) All members of Staff, except those who have direct involvement in the SUG election, should take Wednesday 24th November, off duty.
(d) There shall be no movement of vehicles within the premises of the Institution except for security personnel, members of Staff that have direct involvement in the election and those on essential services (e.g. the ambulance).
All members of the Polytechnic community are enjoined to abide with the provisions of this memo to ensure peace and tranquility in our camp.
