Sequel to the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation visit to Samuel Adegboyega University between October and November, 2021,to the glory of God all the academic programmes that were presented have been fully accredited.
Samuel Adegboyega University, established by The Apostolic Church, Nigeria, LAWNA Territory, was granted its operational license by the Nigerian Universities Commission on March 7th, 2011, as the 45th Private University and 117 on the overall in the Nigerian University System and was inaugurated in August 25, 2011.
As the tradition demands, all academic programmes of the University must be accredited. In line with this, ten (10) programmes were presented, and have all enjoyed FULL ACCREDITATION status.
The programmes presented for accreditation include: Accounting; Banking and Finance; Business Administration; Economics; Mass communication and Public Administration. Others are English Language; History and Diplomatic Studies; Philosophy, and Religious Studies.
It should be noted that the following Programmes in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences are also currently enjoying FULL ACCREDITATION status by virtue of the 2019 NUC Accreditation visit to the University. They include: Biochemistry; Computer Science; Industrial Chemistry; Mathematics; Microbiology; Physics, and Statistics
Recall that, the NUC following the Nigerian Universities System Ranking of December,2021,had issued a circular announcing SAU among the twenty five (25) Universities in Nigeria that were enjoying NUC full Accreditation status for all their programmes
Worthy of note also is that the Academic content of the programmes scored distinction between 85% and 94.8% for all the ten programmes, staffing scored between 75% and 87% and overall score ranged between 75.5% and 89%.
