The Bayelsa State government has come under heavy criticism over the deplorable state of the Community Secondary School in Emeyal, Ogbia Local Government Area of the state after pictures of the school were shared online.
Niger Delta Insider shared photos of the school on Facebook on Thursday, September 8, and wrote
“The school is just at the outskirt of Yenagoa and it’s in a Local Government Area that have lots of oil (Ogbia).”
“Teenagers from a nearby community called, Emeyal 2 also attend the school because there is no school in their village. People of Emeyal and Emeyal 2 communities are calling on the Bayelsa State Government to come renovate the school so it will be suitable for learning.”
