- You must be working in the field of quantum science and technology at Macquarie University.
- You need to have an overall GPA of 4.38 on a scale of 7.0 to get into a research programme at MU.
- You must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:

- TOEFL-IBT – 83
- PTE Academic – 58
- Duolingo – 115
- C1 – 180
- C2 – 180
