The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has threatened to sanction some of its members who have withdrawn from the ongoing industrial action it embarked on 14th February 2022, while negotiations with the Federal Government continue.
The union President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke, issued the warning during an interview on Monday, June 13, in Abuja. He stated that the union will punish those who have pulled out from the ongoing strike the appropriate way.
As the strike enters its 4th month, a few ASUU members, especially those in state-owned institutions have pulled out of the strike to resume their academic activities.
