A teacher with Royal Children International School, Asaba, Delta state has been arrested by men of the Nigerian police force for allegedly raping a 6-year-old-pupil at the school.
According to the family of the minor, the teacher repeatedly raped the child in the school toilet, leaving her private areas damaged. He is also alleged to have threatened to kill the child if she tells anyone about the rape.
They also accused the school management of trying to cover up the assault in order to protect the name of the school.
