Trinity Polytechnic Admission Form 2021/2022

Trinity Polytechnic Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, is now selling the application forms for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Trinity Polytechnic General Admission Requirements

The minimum entry requirements for the ND Programmes are as follows:

• SSCE/GCE ordinary level or its equivalent with credit passes in five subjects relevant to the programme obtained at not more than two sittings.
• Five credit passes in relevant subjects were obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized Preliminary National Diploma (PRE-ND) Programme offered in a polytechnic or similar tertiary technical institution.
• The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with pass in a trade plus four relevant academic subjects.
• A satisfactory score in the UTME examination, which is conducted annually by JAMB.
• Holders of the Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) may be given enhanced placement in the ND Programme provided they have also met the minimum entry requirements into the ND Programmes and obtained good grades in the ANTC Examinations.

Relevant Subjects

1. GCE O’Level of SSCE with a minimum of pass grades/ordinary passes or their equivalent in English Language and Mathematics and three subjects chosen from:
   1. Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science
   2. Chemistry
   3. Physics
   4. Geography
   5. Further Mathematics
   6. Technical Drawing/Fine Arts
   7. Food and Nutrition
   8. Basic Electricity
   9. Metal Work
   10. Auto Mechanics
   11. General Metal Work
   12. General Woodwork
   13. Home Economics
   14. Religious Knowledge
   15. Economics
   16. Clothing and Textile
   17. Statistics
       Choice of the three subjects will determine the programme in which the candidate will finally enrol for the National Diploma.
2. National Technical Certificate (NTC) or equivalent with pass grades in the relevant trade and passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two subjects from (a) above relevant to the programme of study.

A National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution is accepted for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.

How to Apply for Trinity Polytechnic Admission Form

Admission into Trinity Polytechnic, Uyo has started. To apply for admission, use any of the two (2) available ways, namely: By Scratch Card and Online Payment.

(1) Application with Scratch Card:

• Buy Application Scratch Card from any of the approved locations. Get locations here (https://www.trinitypolytechnic.net/admission/guideline/#location).
• Visit the School Portal and click on APPLY FOR ADMISSION WITH SCRATCH CARD (https://www.trinitypolytechnic.net/admission/).
• Enter Scratch Card details (Pin and Serial Number)
• Enter a valid email address
• Enter your phone number where your AppID will be sent to and click the “Register” button.
• Follow all instructions to complete your application form.
• Save and print your copy.

(2) Application with Online Payment:

• Ensure that you have your ATM Card activated for online transactions.
• Visit the School Portal and click on APPLY ONLINE – https://www.trinitypolytechnic.net/onlineApp.
• Enter a valid email address
• Enter your phone number where your AppID will be sent to and click the “Register” button.
• Follow all instructions to complete your payment on the PayStack Platform. On successful payment, you will receive text messages directing you on what next to do.
• Follow all instructions to complete your application form.
• Save and print your copy.

After the above steps and if admitted, a text message will be sent to the phone number you supplied informing you of your successful admission into the Polytechnic.

If admitted, do the following:

• Visit the School Portal and click on ADMISSION then Print Admission Letter – https://www.trinitypolytechnic.net/onlineApp/letter.
• Enter your Serial Number and PIN (the same you received by text message during application).
• Print your Admission Letter using the prescribed paper.
• After printing (in colour using white concord paper), you must take the Admission Letter to the School Administrative Department for the Registrar’s Stamp. Until stamped, the letter remains invalid.
• Click on Pay Acceptance Fee – https://www.trinitypolytechnic.net/payacceptancefee on the School Portal Home Page.
• Follow all instructions to complete your payment on the REMITA Platform. On successful payment, you will receive a text message containing your Student Portal PIN.
• Access the Student Portal section on the School Portal and print your acceptance form
