The University of Calabar has scheduled the Institution’s 43rd Matriculation Ceremony for Friday, October 29, 2021. According to a memo signed by the Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Egbe, the event which will hold at the Abraham Ordia Stadium in the UNICAL will commence at 10am prompt.
Consequently, Faculty/Institute Officers have been enjoined to ensure that matriculating students start the procession at 9am because the Vice Chancellor’s procession is billed to commence at 9:30am.
The memo further states that Friday, October 29, 2021, has been declared *Lecture Free Day* to enable all freshmen to participate fully in the ceremony.
Deans, Directors, and Heads of Department are to ensure strict compliance with the directive as approved by the Vice-Chancellor.
Members of the University community and the public are by this notification invited to attend the ceremony.
