This is to inform all staff and students of the University of Uyo that following the suspension of the strike actions by all the University Staff Unions, the University Senate at its Emergency Meeting held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 has approved the resumption of academic activities in the University.
Accordingly, the University Management has directed that all Academic Activities in the University should resume on Monday, October 24, 2022 in order to complete the 2020/2021 academic session as well as commence the 2021/2022 academic year.
In view of the above, the University Management solicits the co-operation of all staff and students and other stakeholders in ensuring a hitch free resumption,
