A female lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, Mrs. Ngozi Uzodike, birthed septuplet (seven babies); two boys and five girls and is seeking help to pay the hospital bill
The Department of Business Administration lecturer birthed the babies at Obijackson Women and Children Hospital, Okija, on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
Her husband, Celestine Uzodike, who is a junior aide to the Anambra State Governor, disclosed that the babies were born prematurely at 26 weeks.
He said they were slammed with a N19 million bill at the hospital because the babies were placed in the intensive care unit, and each of them cost 3 million.
One of the babies, has sadly, passed away, leaving the couple with six others.
