The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has confirmed that the 2021 May/June SSCE will commence on August 16th, 2021 and end 8th October 2021. The Head of the Nigeria office, Mr. Patrick Areghan, gave this confirmation in Lagos on Tuesday.
However, the examination will end in Nigeria on 30 September 2021- spanning a period of seven – weeks. Candidates are advised to get WAEC Objective & Theory questions and answers for all previous years as this will help them immensely in the coming exams. He said that about 1.6 million candidates are expected to participate in the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination.
He also said about 25,000 senior teachers would be appointed as supervisors for the examination. He attributed the postponement of the examination which was supposed to hold May/June on COVID 19.
