YABATECH Post UTME Screening Invitation, 2022/2023
LATEST UPDATE: This is to inform the general public that the post- UTME application has been extended till 4pm 5th December, 2022. Prospective candidates are to make use of this opportunity to apply for the UTME.
Applications are hereby invited from interested 2022 UTME candidates who applied for admission into Yaba College of Technology for, National Diploma (ND) Full Time and B.SC. in Technical Education programmes (100 level) in affiliation with UNN.
YABATECH Post-UTME registration, cut-off mark, eligibility, application cost and all other relevant information for the 2022/2023 academic session have been announced by the management of the polytechnic. Cut-off mark 150 for ND and 160 for Degree programmes. Application cost is ₦2000. The application which is on-line will commence from Monday October 24, 2022 and close on December 5, 2022.
YABATECH Post UTME Eligibility Criteria
The admission screening is open to candidates who chose Yaba College of Technology as their 1st Choice Institution and scored 150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 160 for B. Sc. Degree (100 Level) in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). All direct entry B.Sc Degree (200 level candidates are also required to apply appropriately on the College Portal. However, all candidates who have chosen Yabatech as 2nd Choice Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to be eligible for admission. All candidates must not be less than 16 years old by October 31, 2022.
All candidates who do not meet the age requirement are advised in their own interest not to apply.

150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 160 for B. Sc. Degree (100 Level) in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka
How to Apply for the 2022/2023 YABATECH Post UTME Screening
Applicants are to pay a fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) (excluding result verification fee and any transaction charges). Payment can be made online or in the bank. The College does not accept cash payment.
Candidates should visit the College website at www.yabatech.edu.ng. Click on “POST UTME SCREENING 2022/2023” and follow the instructions to complete the application process appropriately.
INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
Candidates are advised to supply correct data on the portal as they will be responsible for any error made during registration and any wrong information given on Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and O’Level details will disqualify the candidate.
Inconsistency in name or picture on photo card will not be accepted by the College and may lead to disqualification of concerned candidates. Candidates’ names on their O’ Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.

YABATECH Courses
YABATECH offers B.Sc (Ed) courses in Technical and Vocational education and Postgraduate Diplomas in Engineering. The two programmes are run in conjunction with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, respectively. The student population is 15,000, while the staff strength is 1,600.
