The Zamfara State Government, on Sunday, January 16, announced the reopening of some primary and secondary schools in the state following over five months of closure due to security challenges.
The Acting Director, Quality Assurance, Ministry of Education, Shehu Ibrahim, who made the announcement in a statement made available to reporters said schools will resume today, Monday, January 17.
Public and private schools in the school were categorized as “green’’ “yellow’’ and ”red” by the authorities, and while the ”green and yellow” are to resume normal academic activities, the “red“ category remains closed until the security situation improves.
