Professor Dul Johnson of the Department of English is now the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University. His emergence followed his unanimous election at the 117th Regular meeting of Senate held on 25th May, 2021 at the auditorium of the Faculty of Law soon after his nomination by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. W. B. Qurix. OFR.

Prof. Dul Johnson was nominated alongside Prof. Michael Akpan, current Dean of the Faculty of Social Science, who in a rare show of solidarity requested the kind permission of the Senate to step down for the senior Professor, whom he described as his elder brother and did not therefore deem it appropriate to contest the position of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor with him.
